Our story
Honest Work, Fair Prices
At AMAYA Auto Repair, we've spent years building trust with Bakersfield drivers one honest repair at a time. Sal gives you a price before the work starts, so there are never any surprises when you pick up your car.
We believe in working with you, not around you. If you want to bring your own parts, we'll only charge for labor, and we'll always be straight with you about what your vehicle actually needs, even when that means telling you it's time to let a car go.
From routine maintenance to the kind of emergency that leaves you stranded far from home, we move fast and keep our prices fair. Customers come back year after year because they know exactly what to expect: honest advice and a job done right.
- Customer-supplied parts welcome
- Upfront pricing before work begins
- Fast turnaround, even in emergencies
- Trusted by repeat customers for years
What customers say
“He's always honest and even made us aware of a lemon we had. We go to this guy for everything and trust his recommendations for things he can't do. He's always the most affordable and gets the job done asap.”
“BEST MECHANIC in Town. Genuine. Honest. Reasonable. Fast. Friendly. Quality work and guaranteed for your paid services. As a woman it's so nice to find someone who actually cares about helping you and not just take your money. I highly recommend this shop.”
“Salvador was very understanding and considerate. He checked my water pump and told me that wasn't the problem, my problem was my radiator, and he had the most affordable price out of all the other places I called and the best customer service. He helped with my radiator, put air in my tires, and topped off my brake fluid.”
